Warranty and Service Policies
Minleon International (USA) offers a one (1) year product warranty. TLLG offers a quality of workmanship guarantee for a period of three (3) years. Upon completion of installation, TLLG will inspect all lights, cords, and outlets to ensure everything is working correctly. We recommend that customers turn on lights for a few hours over the course of several evenings to test the system. This will allow us to make corrections as soon as possible. Customers are encouraged to perform their own appearance inspection (cord-hiding/placement, bulb function, work meeting customer's expectations, work-site cleanup) and to report any concerns to the owner within three (3) days. After three days, we will assume that you are pleased with our work..
TLLG is not responsible for any damage, loss of profits or income, property loss or damage caused by products provided to the customer or by the customer, or because of faulty or inadequate electrical systems. Customers are responsible for providing and maintaining adequate and functional electrical outlets adjacent to the proposed locations for decorative lights. TLLG is not responsible for the costs of electricity incurred to illuminate the decorative display.
Power failure or tripping of GFCI circuits that occur as a result of inclement weather is not the responsibility of TLLG. We will perform required service calls to solve these issues, but we will not be held liable for damages that may occur as a result of nature. If a damaged or non-functioning electrical outlet is determined to be the problem, the customer is responsible for the costs of the repair by an alternative service provider and will be charged for a service call.
Any décor added by the customer (and/or their designee) to a product installed by TLLG will nullify the warranties on our work and products. Repair, replacement, or other service needed due to vandalism, neglect, abuse, misuse, faulty outlets, tripped GFCIs, lines cut by lawn crews or critters, fascia rot/damage, or extraordinary weather conditions is not warranted and will be billed accordingly ($50/hour, 3 hour minimum, plus the cost of new materials and any equipment rental fees).
Ladders are used extensively during installation and will lean against the exterior of your building. This can lead to scratches and other minimal damage to the exterior. We are not liable for any damage to poor quality exterior products or other hidden systems that are beyond visibility of the installer including internal wiring, low voltage landscape lighting, flashings, security systems, photocells or timers, irrigation systems, audio visual wiring, etc.
Billing and payment
Payment in full is expected at the time of installation or service. For your convenience, TLLG accepts cash, Venmo, and personal checks. There is a $50 returned check fee. If you have a question about your bill, please contact us within three (3) days or the bill will be assumed correct. In the event the customer fails to make payment as required, the account will be considered to be in default and TLLG reserves the right to remove lights and products from the building. In addition to the outstanding balance, the customer will be responsible for late fees and costs of collection, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, as allowed by law.
Limited warranty and limitation of liability and remedies
BOTH PARTIES AGREE THAT IN THE EVENT OF THE FAILURE OR MALFUNCTION OF LIGHTING AND/OR PRODUCTS PROVIDED, THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY AVAILABLE TO THE CLIENT SHALL BE THE REFUND OF THE COST OF THE SERVICES PROVIDED UNDER THIS AGREEMENT OR THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF THE LIGHTING AND/OR PRODUCTS, TO BE DETERMINED SOLELY AT THE DISCRETION OF THE LINCOLN LIGHT GUY. BOTH PARTIES AGREE THAT THE LINCOLN LIGHT GUY WILL NOT BE LIABLE AND ALL CLAIMS AGAINST THE LINCOLN LIGHT GUY ARE WAIVED FOR SPECIAL, DIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR EXPENSES OF ANY NATURE CAUSED TO THE PROPERTY OF THE CLIENT BY ANY FAILURE OR MALFUNCTION OF LIGHTING AND/OR PRODUCTS PROVIDED UNDER THIS AGREEMENT. BOTH PARTIES AGREE THAT ANY CLAIM BY THE CUSTOMER THAT THE WORKMANSHIP OR MATERIALS USED ARE DEFECTIVE OR NONCONFORMING MUST BE BROUGHT TO THE ATTENTION OF THE LINCOLN LIGHT GUY IN WRITING WITHIN 72 HOURS OF THE SERVICE AND FAILURE TO DO SO RESULTS IN A COMPLETE AND FINAL WAIVER OF ALL CLAIMS.
